The Office of Development and Alumni Relations leads fundraising and development efforts for the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, keeps alumni connected to the college, coordinates CAES engagement events and connects external partners and stakeholders' interests to the needs of CAES students, faculty and programs. The office serves college alumni, friends and donors throughout their lives, from improving student experiences to leaving a legacy through planned giving.

Events

The Garden Gala, a farm-to-table dinner on Saturday, June 7, 2025, will be crafted from UGArden-grown ingredients by local chefs. This ticketed affair will bring together supporters, community members, and local leaders in sustainable agriculture to celebrate UGArden’s impactful journey and the people that made it all possible. 6:00PM - 10:00PM Garden Gala: Farm-to-Table Dinner Flinchum's Phoenix, Athens, GA

An exciting way to kick off the new school year, the CAES Alumni Association hosts Ag Dawg Kickoff to welcome students, faculty, and staff at the start of every fall semester. Attendees are provided with food, musical entertainment, and student club exhibits. The event allows students, faculty, and staff to interact and discover ways to get involved with activities offered by CAES.

Intros and Appetizers is a low pressure, high energy student and alumni/industry professional networking event. This is a great opportunity for students to seek advice and mentorship from alumni and friends of CAES. Space is limited to 50 students and 25 alumni and friends of CAES! Appetizers will be provided. Dress is business casual. Expect: Time for appetizers and mingling Round-robin style networking Ratio of 2:1 students to alumni/industry partner Prompts to guide conversation Multiple rounds of quality connections
